Quality Assurance Tester

Reports To:  Director of Software Development

Position Purpose:  The Quality Assurance Tester will assist in building the quality assurance program for our e-discovery, analytics and online review software. The QA Tester will 1) write, organize and maintain test plans, 2) test and critique software components and interfaces, 3) work with advanced test tools to increase productivity and efficiency, and 4) collaborate with QA and Development team members. This position can be staffed from our offices in either San Francisco or Salt Lake City.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans for database-driven applications
  • Compose specific test case scenarios
  • Prepare and update test documentation
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, with emphasis on SQL scripting
  • Perform acceptance, functional, integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing
  • Identify and verify bugs, and report findings to development team
  • Coordinate test-related work with other testers, developers, and domain specialists
  • Assist in building and maintaining QA environment
  • Participate in product functional, specification, and documentation reviews
  • Assist technical writer in updating documentation based on current software modifications
  • Work with Operations staff to quickly resolve client-facing or mission-critical bugs

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • 2+ years proven application testing experience
  • Experience with Bug Tracking systems (preferably Bugzilla)
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, with expert SQL skills
  • Strong understanding of QA methodology and the Software Development Life-Cycle
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Must be hard-working, self-motivated, innovative, and proactive

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Senior Software Developer

Reports To:  Director of Software Development

Position Purpose:  The Senior Software Developer will participate in major product development and enhancements to our OneO® Discovery Platform line of products. The software developer will participate in all phases of SDLC: from systems analysis and architecture, through development and test, to deployment and support. This position can be staffed from our offices in either San Francisco or Salt Lake City.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist to maintain and enhance our overall product architecture
  • Become an expert on our framework, interfaces, services, components, and component interactions
  • Design and develop framework and business components, and ensure seamless integration of sub-systems
  • Learn and prototype new technologies, and recommend their appropriate use in company products
  • Troubleshoot complex issues during development projects and present elegant solutions
  • Provide technical support to Operations staff; diagnose and quickly resolve production issues

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Track record of designing and developing high-quality, high-volume distributed and scalable business applications
  • Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET

Project Manager – OneO®

Reports To: Director of Client Services

Position Purpose: The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and guiding them through all phases of business including but not limited to database consulting, workflow management, eDiscovery processing, quality control, database analytics, database review, and production. This role is critical and serves as the central point of contact for clients and for project teams as related to any given project. Client Services is a key component as the Project Manager interacts with clients and generally operates within strict timeframes for project completion. A Project Manager must exhibit a high level of professionalism and communicate well with both technical and non-technical resources. A Project Manager will also consult with and train clients on the functionality of the OneO Analytics and OneO Review applications as necessary to satisfy client’s needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project planning and communicating project requirements and deadlines.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned project from inception to production to ensure project progresses on schedule.
  • Act as primary liaison between internal and external clients as it pertains to electronic discovery and online database management.
  • Communicate and consult with clients on best practices and methodologies for document review workflow, and document management.
  • Communicate and consult with clients on best practices and methodologies for smart and cost effective collections of data and the filtering/culling of data.
  • Draft, update, and maintain project documentation such as Statements of Work and project cost estimates.
  • Responsible for tracking all aspects of assigned projects and maintaining accurate data for billing purposes.

Reports To: Profit Center General Manager

Position Purpose: Orange Legal Technologies is seeking experienced legal technology/litigation support sales professionals to focus on the development of new business opportunities and relationships with law firms, corporations, and governmental agencies. The ideal candidate will have a sound technical understanding of the electronic discovery marketplace, a working knowledge of the electronic discovery tasks of collection, analytics, processing, review, and production, and established contacts within AMLAW 200 Firms, Fortune 500 Corporations, and Federal/State Governmental Agencies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create pipeline of clients and prospects.
  • Review pipeline with management on a weekly basis.
  • Consistently achieve annual sales and pipeline objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Project Management to meet client and exceed client expectations.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Five or more years of legal technology services/software sales experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in assigned sales territory.
  • Two or more years working in electronic discovery-centric sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales quotas with emphasis on enterprise type deals .
  • Experience with professional sales methodologies.
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to perform online product/service demonstrations.
  • Strong client engagement, management, and follow-up skills.•Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, with JD desirable, but not required.
